Manufacturing and Process Development
Susan has over 20 years of experience in manufacturing operations and process and product development in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry with companies such as Cardinal Health, Matrix Pharmaceutical, Gensia (now Teva), and Hybritech (Eli Lilly). She had leadership roles in manufacturing, materials management, validation, and technical support. She has experience in small volume parenteral dosage form, aseptic manufacturing, contract manufacturing, facility build-out, facility and organizational start-up, technology transfer, project management, supply chain management, and strategic and organizational planning. Susan has been consulting since 2005.
Susan was a postdoctoral fellow at The Salk Institute and earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Boston University and a B.A. in Biological Sciences with a secondary major in Chemistry from the University of Delaware.
