Marshall has been with Pacific BioDevelopment since 1999 and serves our clients in cell substrate safety, viral and microbial safety, quality, and strategic planning. Marshall has held numerous senior positions in the areas of cell substrate safety, cell banking and characterization, viral clearance, and microbial safety. He was Director of Quality Control, Cell Substrate Safety at Genentech for 12 years, Director of the Biotechnology Services Division at Microbiological Associates (currently, BioReliance, Rockville, MD), and Vice President of Manufacturing and Operations at Genitope Corporation.
His extensive experience over the past 30 years enables him help our clients get their products to market efficiently, by working effectively with the worldwide regulatory agencies in his areas of specialty. He received his B.S. (Zoology) from the University of Maryland and his Doctor of Science from The Johns Hopkins University. His postdoctoral work was at the Institute for Molecular Virology, St. Louis University, and he was on the faculty of the University of Arizona Medical School, where his research focused on molecular virology.
