Pharmacology and Pharmacokinetics
Dr. Maneval has 20 years of experience with preclinical pharmacology, IND filings, and early clinical development of novel biotherapeutics, including monoclonal antibodies and gene therapies for cancer. His background includes both biotechnology companies (Genentech, Canji, Receptor BioLogix) and large pharmaceutical organizations (Schering-Plough), where he led international research teams to advance the development of adenovirus-based drug candidates. Early in his career Dr. Maneval directed preclinical pharmacology/pharmacokinetic studies and supported Phase I/II development of Herceptin®. Dan’s post-doctoral training at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and doctoral program in Biomedical Engineering provides him with a quantitative problem-solving approach toward pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic modeling and simulation.
